Disney Dreamlight Valley patch fixes the game’s worst mission

Disney Dreamlight ValleyThe biggest problem was with Dream Shards – a resource so scarce that a lot of players, including myself, were out of the game for days on end. However, the developer Gameloft says The issue has been resolved by modifying the game’s resource balance issues and fixing other problematic bugs.

Dream Shards, a major resource, will now breed more often – as a reward for feeding animals, removing thorns, and digging up shimmering dirt.

Dreamlight Valley It is an early access game, and there have been technical issues recently that have hampered some of that fun. I’m playing Xbox Xbox X Via Xbox Game Pass, and based on what I’ve heard and read, it’s in much better shape than Nintendo Switch release, which seems to constantly crash or malfunction. I didn’t run into technical obstacles more than once or twice in the 19 hours I played, which doesn’t feel erratic to me. but me You have It was delayed due to an ovulatory imbalance.

You reach one of the quest lines that has cast a curse on the village – a curse that traps all the villagers inside their homes, except for Kristoff’s cursed mother, Merlin and Rapunzel. To advance, I need five Dream Shards, which are incredibly rare. For reference, after 19 hours, I have nothing. You need to scan the thistles for a chance to find them, and only spawn a few thistles per day – unless you’re opening a new area. The emitted thorns didn’t save me Dream Shards, so I grind cooking and fishing to unlock Dreamlight points to unlock a new area instead.

See above: my house is full of cooked fish and cups of fruit. (With everyone locked up in their homes, I couldn’t sell anything either, which meant I had to throw everything on the floor.)

After a few hours, I had enough Dreamlight Points to open up a new area full of thorns. Unfortunately, these thorns gave me coins and seeds – not a single sliver of Dream. And so I had to start the Dreamlight Point grinding process again, hoping one day I’d find five Dream Shards. At this rate, it could have taken over a week, which wouldn’t have been so horrible if I could literally do anything else in the game.

But it didn’t take me more than a week, because I found a solution By searching the developer account on Twitter: Gameloft sent all 25 players Dream Shards to offset balance issues; My problems are now resolved, and my city is empty. So if you’re having this problem, check your mailbox – even though there isn’t anything in the game that indicates you have mail. It’s Band-Aid about a design issue, even if Band-Aid is invisible to anyone who doesn’t check out Twitter.

Thanks to this update, which Gameloft said is rolling out over the course of a few hours, Dream Shards shouldn’t be a big deal. But if so, know that your mailbox stores Dream Shards as well.

Gameloft didn’t say if its spawn rates were adjusted for any other items – flowers and other forage resources were also slowly spawning – but the Night Shard mod will give a lot of players more freedom.
