This week’s episodes saw his daughter Millie struggles to control life on Home FarmAfter her father, Jimmy Tate, shoves her other Grant, Hazel, down the stairs before fleeing the country.
Millie later ran away to Wendy Posner, but Kim has since been trying to bring the girl back to life again In Home Farm for its future.
in Sunday specialKim and Wendy finally come to common ground in putting Millie’s needs first. Later, Wendy and Will appear at Home Farm to announce that Millie is ready to go home.
Just when it looked like things were getting better, Kim noticed that a message in the post had come from Jamie. It contained notes for his kids to read when they get older and one for Kim as well.
“He decided he couldn’t go on living a lie,” Kim Lowell recalled while reading the note. “He didn’t mean to hurt Hazel and he couldn’t get Millie to move abroad. He’s trying to make himself look so noble.”
“He’s got some nerve, I’ll give him that,” Will sneered. “Short and not too sweet.”
The letter was signed with grudges with the following statement: “My only request, my dear mother, is that you not destroy the lives of Millie and Thomas as you have ruined mine. Be better grandparents than you have ever been.”
Kim’s first thought was to burn the letters to the children so that they would not poison the children’s minds as a reminder of their “useless absent father”.
Millie interrupted before they could actually burn the letters, but both Kim and Will seemed certain that Jimmy wouldn’t be back anytime soon.
