FASHION WEEK returns to Pokémon Go next week, with developer Niantic adding a number of stylish Pokémon to the game.
Besides the new Pokémon that will be added, there are also outfits for both Pokémon and avatars.
Here is a list of the biggest changes to Pokémon Go for Fashion Week:
Mariani enters the fight
The next Pokémon to enter the game has been announced.
Mareanie and her development of Toxapex will be included in Pokémon Go starting September 27.
They are poison/water type Pokémon, and they have a heavy defensive block.
This makes them great additions to Pokémon Go where you prefer the defensive battle-based gameplay of Mons.
New fashionable outfits have been added for a number of Pokemon
As Real-Life Fashion Week approaches, a number of Pokemon costumes to be worn will be added from September 27 through October 3.
Diglett, Dugtrio, Absol, and Toxicroak outfits will appear in the wild, and can also be obtained at Timed Research.
Butterfree, Croagunk, Blitzle, and Kirlia can also be found in the wild.
Croagunk and Blitzle will also be available via field research missions.
Eggs up to 7 kilometers long can hatch Pokemon with clothes. These are Diglett, Smoochum, Croagunk and Shinx.
Pokémon in finished clothes can be found in raids.
Diglett, Shinx, and Croagunk will participate in one-star raids, while Butterfree, Kirlia, and Absol will participate in three-star raids.
Taking snapshots of Pokémon this week will increase the chance of Pokémon appearing in costume.
Familiar Pokemon will appear more often
A number of Niantic Pokemon thought to be fashionable will pop up with increasing regularity.
In the wild: Mareanie, Toxapex, Murkrow, Glameow, Gothita, Female Frillish, and Furfrou can be found.
Scraggy and Furfrou will also appear in one-star raids, and Mareanie in three-star raids.
Yveltal will be the five-star Pokémon, and Mega Lopunny will appear in Mega Raids.
Eevee, Furfrou, Murkrow, Skitty, Glameow and Mareanie can be faced as rewards for completing field research missions.
Highlight watch: Minccino
On Tuesday, September 27, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. local time, the Minccino will often appear in the wild.
There will also be an increase in shining odds for Minccino during this hour.
Players will also get a double candy to move a Pokémon at this time.
Minccino is not common in Pokémon Go, but it will not be useful for combat.
Guzma enters the fight
On Saturday, October 1, it will be Go Battle Day featuring Gen 7 Guzma.
On this day, there will be four prizes in the Go Battle League.
You will be able to fight up to a hundred battles with the rewards of increasing rewards.
There will also be Timed Research that earns you experience points, Elite Charge TM, Rare Candy, and Guzma-themed outfits for your avatar.
