ITV Racing Saturday starts here with a handicap of over 1 million metres. REVICH is a little high on the handicap at the moment from the 95 mark but it certainly has claims in every direction for Richard Hannon and Danny Toddhop. My hope was a little below par at York last time around but before that was a decent third at Goodwood and second at Epsom. Flight and path are not issues.

ITV is also in Newbury on Saturday for the Group 3 Legacy Cup of over 1m3f. over here It’s often more than that for Charlie Appleby including when he was put down about two miles away in a Group 2 company. The last time, though, he ran over 1m4f in Goodwood behind Rebel’s Romance and I can’t understand why he shouldn’t To have claims from every direction here to David Probert.

This is a Doonside Cup listed over 1m2f. Phantom Flight wins the ratings but I’ll risk a few in each direction windy Ed Walker and jockey George Dowing. Stormy usually runs a little shorter but he ran well over that distance at Goodwood a couple of rounds ago, and if any rain does happen he will be fine with that.

Another 3 in the World Cup over 5f. Tess Marvelous He is a pretty decent horse when he sang and was in great shape when he last scored in Beverly. Paul Hanagan takes the podium for Clive Cox and with a rating of 109 (it was higher) there is no reason why he shouldn’t be back there again.

Handicap more than 6f. slit This distance stayed solid and was my choice when running the Ripon last time. Unfortunately over the 6F on that course he didn’t go fast enough and went on solidly in sixth. Hopefully there will be a better pace to run here and it will be very difficult to get the frame out for David Allan and Tim Easterby.

Up to Group 2 class of Mill Reef classes for juveniles over 6 years old, Paddy’s Pick 5 first race very. I have to hold on Sakhir Here for the winning St Leger team of David Egan and Roger Varian. Having been beaten up for the first time at Windsor, Sakhir had a lengthy feud with Haydock one last time and he completely hacked him in search of a very useful horse. Now the son of Zovani has the opportunity to prove himself.

It’s a Group 3 company here for the guys on the Firth of Clyde Stakes above 6F. As is often the case in this race, many of these do not have anything like a land a Group 3 rating. Queen Lee He is the very obvious exception, winning well on his debut at Haydock before Swingalong chases home in Lowther at York. Repetition of this effort should be good enough.

Handicap over 1m2f. don’t miss He’s improving fast for William Haggas and he’s a player here under the guidance of excellent 5-pound trainer Adam Frager. Hope for a ride after scoring over 1m4f at Ascot last time, but he has a lot of speed and should get a good pace to run on the field.

Today’s big betting race in the Ayr Gold Handicap Cup on 6F. I fell asleep in the winner of this with Bielsa Last year’s announcement I don’t see any reason why he shouldn’t go in again. He is only 1 pound higher than this time last year and 3 pounds higher he was a good seventh from 22 at a handicap at York in May. After going up to 107, he’s a good disabled horse again and has a huge chance for Kevin Stott and Kevin Ryan. I’ll be in every direction.

So good luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. Do you hear me Buddy?
