Netflix’s new thriller series gives a terrifying look at a notorious serial killer

True crime drama hits the operator very soon.

Netflix has revealed a trailer and release date for the true crime drama about famous American serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer.

titled The Beast: The Jeffrey Dahmer Storythe limited series sees Evan Peters (Mary of East Town) playing Dahmer, who killed 17 people between 1978 and 1991.

Consisting of ten episodes, Netflix says the show highlights the untold stories of Dahmer’s victims.

“The Beast: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is a series that exposes these preposterous crimes, and centers around disenfranchised victims and their communities affected by the systemic racism and institutional failure of the police that have allowed one of America’s most notorious serial killers to continue their visceral murder spree for more than a decade,” the plot summary reads. from the tape.

In addition to Peters, the series’ cast includes Michael Laird, Molly Ringwald, Nessie Nash, Penelope Ann Miller, and Richard Jenkins.

Created by Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan (Glee), Monster arrives on Netflix on Wednesday, September 21.
